Performance Distributors has engineered an ignition system for the high horsepower/high torque 2.7 and 3.5 Liter EcoBoost V6. As you know, the EcoBoost is a different “animal” in the world of engines. And of course, a different style of ignition system is required to light the fire in this twin turbo powerhouse. As with any stock ignition there is room for improvement, so our engineers developed a coil with more voltage to further improve the efficiency and performance of this mighty 6 cylinder.

Usually, we develop coils that are specifically geared not to lose spark on the top end. However, with the torque of the EcoBoost, we developed the S.O.S. (Sultans of Spark) coils to produce more spark energy in the low to mid-range, right in the EcoBoost power band!

The end result is an extreme high energy spark that provides quicker starting, improved acceleration and smoother idle.

Whether you drive an F-150, Explorer, Taurus, Police Interceptor or Flex, you will enjoy the additional performance provided by a set of S.O.S. coils. Installation of S.O.S. coils can be performed in less than two hours with basic hand tools. S.O.S. coils have a one year warranty from date of purchase.
